At the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) we are strongly committed to the sustainability and circularity of composite materials. As part of the EU project EuReComp, we are currently investigating circularity strategies for composite structures from the wind and aviation industries. In addition to recycling and recovery of materials, we also consider repair, reuse and remanufacturing of end-of-life parts. In this way, we aim to reduce waste and convert fibre-reinforced plastic waste into new products.
In order to optimise these strategies and assess their potential impact, we would like to evaluate the current state of the industry through a short survey (approx. 10 minutes). It will help us to gain a better understanding of the current status of composite circularity and the technical, economic and political challenges facing the sector.
We would like to ask for your help: please take part in our survey and share your experiences. This will help us understand potential barriers in your area and tailor our proposed solutions directly to those barriers.
The survey is open for your input: https://tud.link/udav9w
Thank you very much!
