Spinal traumas as well as tumors and metastases often require extensive surgical treatment. Resection of complete vertebral bodies and stabilization of the anterior column of the spine are common goals of spinal tumor and trauma surgery.
Prof. Dr. Lorin Benneker and PD Dr. Christoph Albers will be presenting and discussing state of the art surgical techniques for corpectomy and stabilization in the thoracolumbar spine as well as the clinical benefit of using Carbon/PEEK implants in tumor and trauma patients.
The presentations will be followed by a case discussion and a Q&A session.
