With MAI iBIS – International Business & Innovation Series, we would like to give member companies the opportunity to become more visible internationally. We have selected South Korea as the target country for 2024.
Three companies or organizations will introduce themselves in short pitches, providing you with a total of six interesting insights from Germany and South Korea. The focus is on a novel project or an exciting innovation related to a specific main topic.
The focus for this event is Hydrogen Tanks.
GERMAN SPEAKERS
- Cevotec: Cevotec empowers manufacturers to produce lighter and better composite pressure vessels by using dome reinforcements. The Fiber Patch Placement (FPP) technology allows the most advanced and efficient industrial production of these reinforcements, which reduce vessel weight by up to 15%, increase storage volume, and lower production costs. We provide robotic automation solutions and collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate reinforcements into vessel designs. With Cevotec, manufacturers deliver superior composite tanks at reduced costs.
- Voith HySTech: At Voith HySTech, we are revolutionizing the mobility of tomorrow with our innovative hydrogen storage systems. As part of the renowned Voith Group, we contribute decades of expertise in the development and manufacture of customized CFRP products. Our flagship technology, the modular H2 Storage System, enables refueling in just 10 minutes and offers maximum safety and storage capacity. Our ‚Plug & Drive‘ approach promises seamless integration into your vehicle applications, making a significant contribution to the decarbonization of heavy-duty transport. With our unique TowPreg winding process, we achieve a quality that is unmatched in the industry.
Despite market challenges and high expectations, we have managed to offer a certified and safe product with our hydrogen tank that is recognized by leading truck OEMs worldwide. We are Voith HySTech, and we are shaping a zero-emission future – sustainably and safely. - Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg: Within the German economy, mechanical engineering is both the strongest and the most diverse industry sector. This means that the demands made of a mechanical engineer are equally varied. Students of mechanical engineering have to be able to deal with a quickly changing (working) world in which there is a continual stream of new technologies and developments. This is why it is so important to us at Augsburg UAS to teach our students the fundamental skills that will enable them to solve problems and manage processes using their own initiative. One of these technologies is fiber composites, which are important for various different industries and drivers of innovation.
