Until now, CU members have known Stefan Steinacker as “their” event, congress and trade fair manager. Since 2013, he has planned and been responsible for the association’s joint booths at the major trade fairs of the composites industry, such as JEC World in Paris. He was also the central contact person for the organisation of the more than 40 technical CU working groups.
With effect from October 1, 2021, Stefan Steinacker has now taken over the management of the CU BW cluster. He follows Dr.-Ing. Tjark von Reden, who, together with Dr. Gunnar Merz, took over the general management of Composites United e. V. at the beginning of October.
Stefan Steinacker is a good choice for the Baden-Württemberg cluster, not only because a Swabian is now at the operational head of the successful CU BW. With an M.A. in International Management, the well-connected Stuttgart native considers himself ideally positioned to continue and further advance the very successful work of his previous manager, Dr. von Reden. “I would like to strengthen and expand proven cooperations, such as with the AFBW – Alliance for fibre-based materials or Leichtbau BW GmbH, for the benefit of our members. In addition, I would also like to remain open to cooperation with other networks in ‘The Länd’.”
We are very pleased that Stefan Steinacker, an experienced and passionate colleague, is now taking over the management of CU BW and wish him every success in his new position.
