Recent global events, from pandemics and geopolitical conflicts to extreme weather and cyber threats, have highlighted the growing need for resilient supply chains. This webinar will explore the causes and impacts of supply chain disruptions, introduce the concept of supply chain resilience, and discuss why it has become a strategic priority for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across different industries.
Participants will also gain insights into the role of digital technologies and collaborative supply chain platforms in strengthening resilience and supporting informed decision-making.
As practical examples, the webinar will present the ResC4EU project and demonstrate several digital solutions developed by the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL), including the Supply Chain Resilience Self-Assessment Tool, the Transport Risk Alert Tool, and other ResC4EU platform-based services designed to help SMEs identify vulnerabilities, monitor risks, and improve resilience an develop sustainable supply chains.
