Project Overview

The project enables SMEs to respond more effectively to disruptions such as geopolitical tensions or natural disasters by leveraging advanced technologies and fostering collaboration across regions.

Through pilot activities in 14 key industrial sectors, ResC4EU promotes knowledge exchange between tech-savvy SMEs and those aiming to modernize their operations.

ResC4EU offers manufacturing SMEs a comprehensive suite of free, practical services designed to boost supply chain resilience and drive sustainable growth:

  • An interactive B2B platform is provided to enable effortless connection with innovation partners, access to cutting-edge digital tools for risk analysis, and discovery of tailored solutions to enhance supply chain robustness. For more, visit https://resc4eu.greentwin.app
  • Hands-on training programs are conducted, including expert-led workshops and Net-Zero Industry Academies, which equip teams with actionable skills to anticipate disruptions and implement sustainable practices.
  • Personalized matchmaking services are arranged to connect SMEs with technology providers and innovation experts who can address specific challenges and accelerate digital transformation.
  • Advanced risk detection tools are made available, allowing predictive identification of vulnerabilities before operational impact, thus enabling proactive decision-making and minimizing downtime.
  • Ongoing support and networking opportunities are facilitated through a vibrant community of forward-thinking SMEs and industry leaders for knowledge exchange, best practice sharing, and business development.

 

Objectives

  1. Tool Development: Development of tools to empower manufacturing SMEs to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
  2. Training and Networking: Providing an open space for training manufacturing SMEs and networking with tech-savvy SMEs.
  3. Technology Acceleration: Accelerating adoption of advanced technologies in manufacturing SMEs.
  4. Sustainability Demonstration: Showcasing benefits of supply chain resilience alongside improvements in sustainability, including reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, energy savings, and resource conservation.
  5. Public Awareness: Raiding public awareness of resilient supply chains and advanced technologies as solutions for making EU businesses more resilient and sustainable.

 

Project Consortium

ResC4EU is led by a consortium of 10 robust partners from 7 European countries, composed of:

  • 6 of Europe’s foremost industry associations and clusters, representing over 1,000 SMEs across 14 European industrial sectors.
  • 2 SMEs specializing in inter-cluster and innovation management, as well as B2B platform development.
  • 2 research organizations specializing in logistics, supply chain risk modeling, and product life-cycle assessment.
