The “Sustainability” working group of the Composites United Network is the exchange platform for all relevant sustainability topics in the field of fibre-reinforced composites. In this joint meeting with the CU working group Biocomposites, focusing on increasingly popular sustainable composite materials from natural sources, the focus is on Life Cycle Analyses (LCA) with a special focus on these materials. Is bio-based always better than conventional, industrially produced fibre materials like glass or carbon from an LCA point of view?
In addition, we want to get feedback from the participants of both working groups on the next activities. Several ideas for event formats / workshop ideas will be presented and your feedback as participants is requested.
