The ResC4EU project has completed its first year, focusing on raising awareness, developing project content, and creating the platform, models, and messages to best support SMEs. This is Newsletter #1 which contains the project highlights and topics of 2024.

Events – Trade Fairs and Conferences

The ResC4EU Consortium kicked off the project at the historic Cotton Exchange in Bremen, Germany. Since then, project partners have promoted ResC4EU at various events, engaging SMEs and policymakers across Europe. Key highlights include Global Industrie in Paris, GreenOffshoreTech Event in Hamburg, SMM in Hamburg, and KOMPOZYT EXPO in Krakow, all focused on expanding the project’s reach and impact.

Website & Social Media

The project has launched its own website and LinkedIn channel, gaining strong interest from the start. In 2025, we’ll increase activity by sharing valuable content to boost supply chain resilience.

The Launch of the ResC4EU B2B Platform

In 2024, the ResC4EU B2B platform, aimed at boosting SME resilience in supply chains, was launched in October at KOMPOZYT EXPO in Krakow. The event featured a “Red Button” ceremony with an international audience. Now open for registration, the platform will continue to evolve with new features, marking a key milestone in supporting SMEs.

Model Development and SME Survey Significant progress has been made in developing models to improve supply chain resilience and reduce climate impact, enhancing the capabilities of the ResC4EU Platform later on. A key part of this was a comprehensive SME survey, which provided valuable insights into the challenges SMEs face. The project also deepened its understanding of advanced technologies that can help overcome supply chain challenges.

2024 was a success, and we’re excited for 2025! We look forward to support SMEs and hope to meet you at upcoming events. Stay tuned for updates and feel free to reach out !
