The ILK and the ACL have been organizing the annual Dresden Lightweight Engineering Symposium since 1997 – a meeting place for scientists and stakeholders from industry and politics.
The 27th International Dresden Lightweight Engineering Symposium #27DDLES “Neutral Lightweight Engineering – Resillience through Technological Sovereignty” will take place from June 13th-14th, 2024.
Partner country #INDIA
The Dresden region and the TU Dresden in particular have a long, intensive and on many levels friendly partnership with India. India is a focus country of the School of Engineering (ING) at TU Dresden. Embedded in the strategic partnership work of the International Office and in close cooperation with the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (BU) of the TU Dresden, extensive activities aimed at expanding the partnership with India are taking place. The most important actors are thereby bundled around the Heritage Network, the ABCD-centre and the bilateral COMPOLL project of the ILK and the IITD.
The designation of India as partner country of the 27th International Dresden Lightweight Engineering Symposium now marks another milestone on the way to a sustainable Indo-German exchange of science and know-how.
You can look forward to specialist lectures by renowned Indian representatives from science and industry, meetings with important multipliers and exchanges with exhibitors at the accompanying trade fair. Beyond the technical aspects and B2B discussions, we offer the participants the opportunity to experience the cultural diversity and uniqueness of India here in Dresden and organize an Indian cultural evening.
