At yesterday’s general meeting of Composites United Switzerland, President Christian Brauner welcomed the large number of members present and thanked Beyond Gravity for the right of hospitality. The meeting was streamlined, the annual accounts, the 2023 budget and the auditors’ report were unanimously accepted and thanked. There was also unanimity in the elections, the board members and the auditors were re-elected in unison.
However, some highlights awaited the members. On the one hand, it was the last meeting for the retiring founding Executive Director Stève Mérillat and at the same time his successor was announced with great pleasure: Theo Sandu will be the new Managing Director of CU Switzerland as of 1 June 2023. Theo Sandu has already been working at CU Switzerland since February 2017, since last year also as Deputy Managing Director, and is responsible for business development. The members present and the board expressed their sincere thanks to Stève for his work and their confidence in Theo.
The subsequent tour through the halls of Beyond Gravity made it clear once again where the members of our network are to be found: at the top of our industry.
