The SP80 Sàrl, made up of a team of engineers and students from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne EPFL, are confident that they will be able to significantly surpass the existing world speed record in sailing. This should be possible by combining sailing, kitesurfing and technical principles. Suter Kunststoffe AG is supporting the SP80 Sàrl with its expertise in the field of fibre composites.
