Lightweight technology through digitisation – what benefit is there for climate change?
In many cases, digitisation makes it possible to optimise lightweight technology products to save resources. This saves a large amount of CO2. However, digitisation also emits CO2, often in very large quantities. Where is the right balance? Can we reduce total CO2 through digitisation in lightweight technology despite this dilemma?
We will be addressing these questions and discussing them with you as the main topic of this year’s Global Lightweight Summit on 20 October 2022 in Filderhalle Leinfelden-Echterdingen (South Germany).
