6TH SYMPOSIUM COMPOSITE RECYCLING & LCA

19.02.2025
bis 19.02.2025
Event Location:

LOOK21 in Stuttgart, Germany

Current global developments such as raw material dependency, energy costs, supply chain problems and more stringent environmental regulations are challenging for German industry. Energy and resource efficiency, sustainability, life cycle assessment and resilient value chains through material safety and technology sovereignty are determining factors for the future competitiveness of companies and their market value. This also applies in particular to composite materials and technologies, which are key drivers of innovation in lightweight construction in numerous industries.

The recycling of end-of-life (EOL) components and the reuse of production offcuts and remnants in new products will determine the future success and continued use of fiber-reinforced composites. Efficient and cost-saving recycling concepts and processes must therefore be continuously developed and promoted.

With the COMPOSITE RECYCLING & LCA symposium on February 19, 2025, the industry networks AFBW and CU together with the DITF Denkendorf will address this topic and present intelligent and sustainable solutions for the recovery and processing of carbon fiber-containing residues and their balancing. The conference will provide an insight into new technologies, processes, applications and life cycle assessment tools. The presentation of hybrid materials and new material blends will round off the event.

FCR: Established meeting place for experts
The Composite Recycling Congress has developed into a meeting place for experts from industry and science. The latest findings are presented and practical examples are shown. The congress is an ideal platform for exchanging ideas with like-minded people and for networking. The Composite Recycling Congress will take place for the sixth time in Stuttgart on February 19, 2025.
