Already in its 67th year, the BetonTage, Europe’s largest trade congress of the concrete and precast industry, will take place from June 20 to 22, 2023. And already for the fourth time, the CU Bau network of Composites United is an integral part and valued partner of the BetonTage, providing innovative impulses for lightweight construction in concrete.
Each year, about 2,000 attendees from 20 countries join this industry gathering at the Edwin-Scharff-Haus Congress Center and thoroughly enjoy the personal touch and pleasant atmosphere at the event. This long-standing congress features a high-profile agenda, renowned speakers and a fully booked exhibition of the engineering, software and supplier industries. Product-specific panels provide key insights into latest trends in concrete technology, manufacturing processes and standardization. Yet there are a lot more opportunities to share experience and expertise, engage in talks and network with peers and business partners.

The motto of this year’s BetonTage is “Turning point in concrete construction”. Indeed, in view of climate change and the European Green Deal, the construction industry is facing major, even disruptive challenges. Concrete, a building material that will remain indispensable in the future, sees itself in a second industrial revolution in the next two or three decades. The high CO2 footprint must be reduced through clearly noticeable measures and actual action.
CU Bau Podium on June 22, 2023
June 22 is the “Future Day for the Construction Industry” at BetonTage in the Congress Centrum Ulm. In this fitting setting, the CU Bau podium “Carbon concrete – applications in practice” will provide a comprehensive overview of implementation examples.
