State-certified Technician of Plastics Engineering and Fiber Composite Technology
(Please note that the professional training programs described here are only offered in German.)
In addition to appealing apprenticeships, the fiber composite industry also offers exciting opportunities for further training.
For example, a technical apprenticeship can be followed by further training to become a state-certified technician in plastics engineering and fiber composite technology. This can be completed either full-time or part-time and ends with a state examination. Successful completion of the course also gives students the opportunity to obtain a specialized university entrance qualification.
Training to become a state-certified technician in plastics engineering and fiber composite technology can be completed, for example, at the CU members “Technikerschule Donauwörth“, “Staatliche Fachschule für Kunststofftechnik und Faserverbundtechnologie in Wasserburg a. Inn” and “Eckert Schulen“.
Certified industrial foreman in fiber composite technology
Following vocational training, further training is possible to become a certified industrial foreman in fiber composite technology. This advanced training is regulated on a national level and after successfully passing the examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), the participant receives a master craftsman’s certificate.
This training is offered, for example, by “IHK Schwaben”.
