CU celebrates 20th anniversary

For 20 years, we have been connecting industry and science to develop and promote sustainable fiber composite solutions. The fact that we are now one of the leading international competence networks for high-performance fiber composites is thanks to our members and all those who have supported, promoted and accompanied us over the years.

In Stade, where it all began in 2004, we would therefore like to celebrate this milestone together with you and invite you to our 20th anniversary celebration. This will be combined with this year’s CU General Meeting on November 26 and 27, 2024. We are expecting 250 participants and high-profile guests from politics and our industry. Join us – great highlights will make this event unforgettable for everyone.

What can you expect from our anniversary celebrations?

We would like to celebrate our anniversary with you in November 2024. We will look back on 20 successful years and take a look into the future together. We would like to focus on what makes us special: our network.

With a key note session with top-class contributions from business and research and an exhibition area in the solar hall in Stade, we will showcase the diverse expertise in the CU network.

We start on November 26, 2024 in the morning with the CU General Meeting. The festive part will begin at 2 p.m. with welcoming speeches, a look back at 20 years of the CU and an outlook for the future, with
great keynotes on the topic of “Composites – drivers for innovation and sustainability” from top-level speakers from our network. We will end the first day with an atmospheric evening event with music and good food.

On November 27, 2024, you will have the opportunity to take part in interesting guided tours of the composites ecosystem in and around Stade in the morning.
