CU Innovation Day “Tailored Structures”

The CU Innovation Day “Tailored Structures” will focus on lightweight design using fiber-reinforced composites (FRP) with minimal material usage as a core objective. We will exploit the anisotropic properties of variable-axial composites, which is a key aspect of this. Furthermore, in collaboration with international partners from academia and industry, we will lead the discussion on the latest advances in design, manufacture, and application of ultra-lightweight structures. This exchange will provide the foundation for a sustainable and resource-efficient development of future lightweight FRP applications.

If you would like to give a presentation or a key note, we encourage you to send us a short application for a presentation slot by Friday, 31 January at the latest.

In the first step, a short abstract with the title of the presentation, speaker, company/institute and a meaningful short description of the topic (maximum 1 page) is sufficient. If you want to supplement the topic with a few informative visuals, you are welcome to do so.

After the registration deadline has passed, the submitted presentations will be objectively evaluated and integrated into the existing programme according to their relevance. The final program with the confirmed presentations will be communicated by February, 14th at the latest.
