For 25 years, Hightex Verstärkungsstrukturen has thrived through successful development and numerous innovations in producing 2D and 3D preforms for high-performance fiber composites. In the last decade, the company has invested approximately €20 million in two state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology.

Founded with the vision of producing textile reinforcement structures using automatic embroidery machines, the Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP) process enables precise placement of glass and carbon fibers for both small and large series. Our capabilities have since expanded to include roving binding, various cutting techniques, and 3D forming. Our semi-finished textile products are utilized in the aerospace and automotive industries. Recently, our focus has been on enhancing automation. With the new TFP high volume TFP(hV) process, it is possible to achieve up to 10 times higher deposition rates. With such production rates, series production is now also possible in markets such as the automotive industry, which is why we are currently seeking IATF certification.

To ensure the continued success of Hightex Verstärkungsstrukturen GmbH, the shareholders sought a successor that aligns with the company’s innovative and decisive spirit. The Connova Group emerged as the ideal partner. The company will continue to operate independently within the Connova Group.

The Connova Group, a Swiss industrial entity specializing in composite materials and customized engineering services for lightweight construction, employs around 85 people across its sites in Villmergen, Switzerland and Grossröhrsdorf, Germany. The group serves international clients in aviation, aerospace, automotive, drone industries and select industrial sectors. Further information can be found at: https://www.connova.com/

Dr. Dirk Feltin will remain active as Managing Director and minority shareholder in Hightex Verstärkungsstrukturen GmbH. Mr. Maurice Perret has joined the company as the second Managing Director representing Connova Holding and will actively support the future growth of the company group. Ms. Jeanette Scherf will remain on the Management Board for a transitional period as an authorized signatory.

The Hightex team embraces this succession plan, which ensures long-term stability, increased expertise, and enhanced vertical integration in the field of lightweight composite structures. Hightex Verstärkungsstrukturen GmbH remains committed to continue delivering their projects with the same quality and reliability and is looking forward to addressing new customer challenges.
