Ostseestaal company will be shortly presented as introduction. The presentation circles around the project specific development of metal moulds for GFP, CFP production. Based on the requirements of the production process the moulds will be either from steel, Invar or other special alloys to suit the expansion coefficient of the laminate. The moulds are made for in or out of autoclave processes. Further the additional integrated equipment like vacuum, heating, cooling, control and monitoring systems will be discussed. Commercial advantages of the Ostseestaal moulds will be highlighted and explained. Finally there will be an outlook on further developments in metal moulding technology.
