This online event is designed to assist the professional in understanding the basic principles behind the modern use of so-called ‘boilerplate’ clauses in international contracts. It is structured in the form of a series of ‘case studies’ taken from the business world to allow a maximum of ‘hands-on’ experience in using the language. The seminar starts off with an analysis of the basic steps in contract formation and discusses the individual types of boilerplates used. Participants will be provided with examples of model boilerplates.
