Once cooled, the two materials form a durable hybrid bond. When reheated, the joint can be separated again cleanly for reuse or recycling.<\/p><p>HYJOIN\u2019s technology has already demonstrated tested performance, including 15\u201330 MPa strength according to DIN EN 1465, confirmed aging stability according to PV1209 and media tightness up to 30 bar. The process works across a wide range of materials, from commodity plastics to high-performance polymers and from aluminum to titanium.<\/p><p><strong>The systems <\/strong><\/p><p>coreJOIN\u00ae and coreSUPPLY\u00ae integrate into existing production lines. varioJOIN\u00ae handles flexible, low-volume production. giroJOIN\u00ae and atroJOIN\u00ae cover high-throughput and fully automated series production. laserTREAT\u00ae prepares the metal surface for maximum joint strength.<\/p><p><strong>Why it matters now <\/strong><\/p><p>The EU\u2019s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and the End-of-Life Vehicle directive are making re-separable, recyclable connections a requirement, not a preference. HYJOIN\u2019s thermal direct joining technology offers an important advantage in light of these growing requirements, as joints can be separated again cleanly for reuse or recycling.
