Europe is falling behind in industrial innovation. While AI and automation are promising, European manufacturing still heavily relies on outdated processes and fragile off-shore production models. Holy Technologies is changing that, starting with lightweight manufacturing.<\/p>

Holy Technologies has raised EUR 4.3 million to launch the world\u2019s first autonomous factory for lightweight components, which are required to cut fuel use, boost range, and improve efficiency in many industries. Powered by AI and robotics, the Hamburg-based facility helps manufacturers build better components faster and industrial scale\u2013while restoring competitiveness.<\/p>

Backers include Rockstart, Vanagon, SANDS, Innovationsstarter Fonds Hamburg and EIT Manufacturing alongside notable angel investors, including Adrian Locher (Merantix AG), Matthias Dantone (Ellipsis Ventures), Christian Vollmann (C1), Markus Kerkhoff (Poppe+Potthoff), Kai M\u00fcller (PowerCo), Timm Moll (Moll Gruppe) and several others.<\/p>

Autonomy enables manufacturers to adapt faster, reduce complexity, and build products that outperform on weight, strength, and sustainability. Yet the materials that make this possible\u2013composites\u2013remain slow and costly to produce. Today, the vast majority of components are made with manual processes. Holy Technologies is solving that.<\/p>

Since its founding in 2022, Holy Technologies has built a fully operational pilot line, secured offtake agreements for thousands of components, and partnered with leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in automotive, motorsports, industrial tools, and orthopedics. In a recent collaboration with a Formula 1\u2122 team<\/a>, Holy Technologies validated a 20% weight reduction versus incumbent parts, a clear signal of the performance gains enabled by its technology.<\/p>
