In mid-February, the ResC4EU project consortium gathered for its 5th general asssembly in Athlone, Ireland, for a productive two-day meeting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On Day 1, beside the general assembly meeting the consortium took the opportunity to meet key Irish players and learn their innovative initiatives:<\/p>

MOAT Consultants: They shared valuable insights from an Irish “pilot project on all-island supply chain resilience”, highlighting key findings and lessons learned.<\/p>

Mersus Technologies: Mersus showcased their VR-based digital twin simulations, demonstrating how these tools enhance supply chain optimization by improving workforce training, reducing onboarding times, and boosting operational efficiency.<\/p>

Applied Polymer Technologies (APT): The consortium visited APT\u2019s facilities, gaining first hand knowledge of their work in material selection, process optimization, and sustainable manufacturing practices.<\/p>

Technological University of the Shannon (TUS): The TUS Rise team presented the university\u2019s expertise in supply chain analytics, sustainable manufacturing, and workforce development, opening up new opportunities for further collaboration within the ResC4EU consortium.<\/p>

On Day 2, the consortium held an intensive working session, discussing project initiatives, progress, and next steps to further advance the goals of the ResC4EU project.<\/p>
