On May 28 & 29, 2024, a special event for members of the Composites United and Composites NL networks took place in Delft at SAM XL \/ TU Delft. The event brought together around 90 participants from both networks and provided an excellent opportunity to make valuable contacts and exchange knowledge.<\/p>

A total of ten exciting presentations were held, five each from the German and Dutch sides. These provided valuable insights into the latest developments and innovations in the field of composite materials.<\/p>

In the exhibition area, Dutch and German partners presented current projects and products that put the spotlight on sustainable composite materials for industries such as aviation, automation and railroads.<\/p>

The event also provided lots of opportunities for networking, which was used intensively by the participants to make new contacts and deepen existing relationships. A particular highlight was the evening event, which provided a pleasant atmosphere with live music, good food and drinks and further encouraged informal exchanges.<\/p>

Exciting company tours were on the agenda for the second day. The participants visited CEAD, Airborne and kve, gaining exclusive insights into their technologies and production processes.<\/p>

The very positive feedback from the participants showed how valuable such events are for knowledge exchange and networking. A follow-up event is therefore already planned for 2025 in Stade.<\/p>

We look forward to continuing this successful format and further joint projects in the future.<\/p>
