Urs Meier is the former director of Empa’s D\u00fcbendorf site. Through his research and developments, he has contributed significantly to the realisation of carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP) in the construction industry. He turned 80 on 8 January – we congratulate Urs Meier warmly and thank him for his tireless commitment.<\/p>\n
