On 10th March 2022 CU Ost, CU Nord, and CU Switzerland organized the CU Innovation Day \u201cLightweight-Applications with Composites and beyond \u2013 Hot and innovative stuff from the Start-ups\u201d online in the CU-Mixup.World.<\/p>\n

The CU invited to get a deeper look behind the start-ups in the fields of lightweight design, composites and beyond; to feel the innovative spirit of young, dynamic companies; to receive impulses for strengthening of the own business; to get ideas for possible investments and corporations; and get in touch with new creative people in a playful way.\u00a0We counted about 100 highly motivated participants, 25 Pitches, 30 virtual booths, uncountable video calls, and 1 Winner of the best-pitch award: Congratulations to\u00a0Dr. Michael Stegelmann, Cofounder of\u00a0ANYBRID GmbH. His prize is a CU event box and a CU marketing package.<\/p>\n

Anybrid GmbH is a young company that is focused on using composites in machining technologies. Like this it was possible to transform a rigidly standing plastic injection-moulding machine into a mobile machine that can move freely in space. With this unrivalled technology of Robotised Injection Moulding (ROBIN), ANYBRID combines polymers with various other materials and thus serves a steadily growing market for the production of hybrid components. For the first time the advantages of polymer processing with the flexibility of robotics in order to completely rethink the production.<\/p>\n
