A few years ago, thermoplastic composite materials were added as a further business area. Ensinger offers sheets and components made of fibre-reinforced thermoplastics, especially for applications in the medical technology sector. The Ensinger Group has now made a further investment in the field of composite materials: A new plant for the production of thermoplastic prepregs was commissioned at the Cham site in Bavaria.
