The development and implementation of new methods and processes is essential for this. This working group provides a platform for all interested parties to exchange experiences and ideas across sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The main topics of the WG include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lean Construction<\/li>\n<li>Automated manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>Additive manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>Robotics<\/li>\n<li>Digitization<\/li>\n<li>Visualisation<\/li>\n<li>Simulation<\/li>\n<li>Standard manufacturing processes<\/li>\n<li>Quality management<\/li>\n<li>Cross-sectoral cooperation &#8211; mechanical engineering<\/li>\n<li>Cross-sectoral cooperation &#8211; textile technology<\/li>\n<li>Non-metallic reinforcement construction<\/li>\n<li>Material-specific process design<\/li>\n<li>Prefabrication<\/li>\n<li>Transport and assembly<\/li>\n<li>Construction site, construction operations<\/li>\n<li>Formwork techniques, formwork construction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our aim is to develop and provide guidelines\/knowledge databases etc. for the use of fiber reinforced matrices in the construction industry. This requires close cooperation with other WGs of the CU Bau network. The book is aimed at beginners and dimensioning engineers, focusing on highly stressed components made of fiber composites, i.e. (carbon) fibers with polymer and concrete matrix.
