The construction industry is an sector in which, on the one hand, the topic of high-performance fiber composites is not yet established, but on the other hand, there is enormous application potential. In order to further prepare, deepen and jointly advance the topic for our members, the CU Bau specialist network serves as a national and international platform.<\/p>\n

Our vision<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our vision is that the entire construction industry – builders, architects, planners, approval bodies as well as construction companies – will use building products with fiber-reinforced concrete and polymer matrix with confidence and in accordance with the material and with the corresponding approvals out of knowledge and conviction.<\/p>\n

Our mission<\/strong><\/p>\n

CU Bau as a supra-regional specialist network of Composites United e.V. promotes the acceptance and widespread use of fibre reinforced materials in the construction industry on behalf of its members from industry and science.<\/p>\n

Five working groups are currently working in CU Bau:<\/p>\n

“Fiber Composites for New Building and Rehabilitation”<\/a><\/p>\n

“Processes, Methods and Digitization”<\/a><\/p>\n

“Draft, Planning, Dimensioning and Design”<\/a><\/p>\n

“Sustainability, Health and Circular Economy”<\/a> and<\/p>\n

“Education, Public Relations and Cooperation with Authorities”.<\/a><\/p>\n
